Where it comes from

In 2025 I started building a regulatory-watch tool: follow the AI Act, GDPR, DORA, and warn companies when something changed. Two things became clear. Any lawyer could get that watch by asking a language model, so what I was building was worth less every month. And in the organisations I trained on the AI Act, nobody lacked information about their obligations. They lacked someone to produce the file, and the deadline was getting closer.

I stopped the watch in June 2026 and rebuilt around that gap. Euridium holds, for each AI system, the obligations that apply, the evidence, the signatures and the audit trail. The watch still exists, inside, as an input: a new guideline becomes a list of evidence to re-examine, never a news item.

Where we are

The application is live: registry, classification, a catalogue of 200 obligations across eight regimes, evidence library, two-person sign-off, hash-chained audit trail, Annex IV export, ISO crosswalk. The AI drafting of the file is being built this autumn and will be demonstrated in December 2026 on the real documents of the first pilots. We start in Belgian finance, where the obligation, the auditor and the budget already exist, and we sell in Europe, because the law is the same in twenty-seven countries.

What we refuse to do

Compliance software has a trust problem: inflated scores, self-issued certificates, fine-driven banners. Euridium shows no governance score, issues no certificate, and uses the regulation’s real dates as the only urgency. Where the law is unsettled, it says so. Decision support, clearly labelled, never a verdict.

Who builds it

Nicolas Heynderickx, founder. Independent consultant on EU digital regulation and AI governance since 2025, based in Brussels; 27 published analyses on the legal side of AI; built the product himself. Euridium was selected for the FARI AI Accelerator 2026 (AI for the Common Good Institute, ULB/VUB), and is grounded in the founder’s research on how the AI Act’s transparency obligations work in practice.
